Abstracts
Contributions covering all fields of diabetology. Abstracts submittion by e-mail to office@fid2009.org. Accepted abstracts will be published in the journal "Diabetes, Stoffwechsel und Herz".
Deadline for abstract submission: April 30th, 2009. Informations about abstract acceptance will be sent by e-mail within two weeks from submission. Please do not forget to give your e-mail adress!
Instructions for authors :
• Start with the abstract title, then give authors names and affiliations.
• The abstract should be structured using the following headings: aims, material and methods, results, conclusions.
• The abstract should be written in German or in English.
• The text of the abstract should not exceed 3.000 characters (including spaces).
• There should be no tables or figures in the abstract.

Reisestipendien
Authors, aged below 40 years, can apply for a travel grant of up to 500 Euro (presenting author). Necessary requirements for the grant approval are
1. abstract acceptance, and
2. active FID - membership.
The membership in the Central European Diabtets Association can be applied for simultaneously with application for a travel grant (membership 10 Euro per year). Further information: www.fid.at.
Applications for a travel grant should be submitted, along with the required documents, to the secretary of the association,
